MATURA
Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
MATURA ("MATURA," "we," "us," or "our") operates maturarecovery.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information when you visit our website, purchase our products, sign up for emails or texts, use our product assistant or otherwise interact with us.
1. Information we collect
- Contact information: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping addresses when you provide them.
- Order information: products purchased, quantities, transaction amounts, payment status, shipping details, and correspondence about an order. Payments and orders are processed by Shopify and its payment providers; payment details are handled by those providers.
- Sign-up and quiz information: your email address, mobile number (if you opt in to texts), any quiz answers you give in our sign-up form, subscription preferences, and interactions with our emails and texts.
- Product assistant messages: the questions you type into the product assistant chat on our product page.
- Device and browsing information: IP address, browser and device type, pages and products viewed, cart activity, referring pages, and approximate location derived from technical information.
- Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers and browser storage used to support shopping, keep your cart, remember preferences, understand site activity and personalize communications.
2. How we use information
- Process payments, fulfill and deliver orders, provide customer support, and communicate about purchases.
- Send marketing emails and texts when you subscribe, and manage your communication preferences.
- Pre-fill your email address at checkout if you gave it to us in a sign-up form.
- Answer your questions through the product assistant.
- Measure website and email performance, analyze browsing and cart activity, and improve our products and services.
- Detect fraud, protect our website, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations.
3. Email marketing and Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo to manage email and text subscriptions, send marketing messages, and understand interactions with our website and messages. If you sign up through one of our forms, your email address, any quiz answers and, if you opt in to texts, your mobile number are shared with Klaviyo to deliver and personalize those messages. Klaviyo's onsite tools may associate product views, cart activity and checkout starts with your profile.
Klaviyo's onsite tools do not load for visitors in the EU/EEA, the UK or Switzerland, when your region cannot be determined, or when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting us at hello@maturarecovery.com. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary order or service communications.
4. SMS / text message marketing
The program name is MATURA. If you opt in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (such as your quiz code, cart reminders and offers) from MATURA at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time; after you reply STOP you will receive one confirmation message and no further marketing texts. You can also get help at hello@maturarecovery.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We use Klaviyo to send text messages.
Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes; they are shared only with service providers that help us deliver the messages.
5. Product assistant
The product assistant on our product page answers questions about the Matura Recovery System. The messages you type are sent to our AI service provider to generate a reply. The assistant is not a medical professional and does not give medical advice. Please do not enter health details or other sensitive information, and ask your healthcare provider about anything clinical.
6. How we disclose information
We disclose information to service providers that help operate our business, including Lovable for hosting our website, Shopify for checkout, order and payment processing, Klaviyo for email and SMS marketing, our AI service provider for the product assistant, and providers for shipping, technology and customer support. These providers receive information needed to provide their services, subject to applicable agreements and their privacy practices.
When you check out, Shopify collects and processes personal information about your order and payment to provide and improve its services. To learn more, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and the Shopify Privacy Portal.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or other business transfer, subject to applicable law. We do not sell personal information.
7. Cookies and your choices
You can manage or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect shopping features such as your saved cart. You can also choose not to sign up for marketing. If you visit with the Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we treat it as a request to opt out for that browser and device. Where applicable law requires consent for particular cookies or uses, those requirements apply independently of this policy.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including California under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA), you may have the right to know and access the personal information we hold about you, request deletion subject to legal exceptions, correct inaccurate information, receive your information in a portable format, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or its use for targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
To submit a request, contact hello@maturarecovery.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and an authorized agent may submit a request subject to appropriate authorization and verification. We respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may be able to appeal by contacting us, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International transfers
We and our service providers may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in. If we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, unless the transfer is to a country with an adequate level of protection.
10. Data retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including fulfilling orders, maintaining your preferences, providing support, and meeting legal, tax and accounting obligations. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful exceptions.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. No website, transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Children
Our website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact hello@maturarecovery.com so we can delete it as appropriate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. We will provide additional notice when required by law.
